Free Hugs!Yesterday, myself and my two friends, Elizabeth and Emily, went to The Forks ([link]) here in Winnipeg. After seeing a facebook group for a free hug day, we decided to join this group of people.
I swear to god, it was fucking incredible. We kept a tally, and hugged a total of...
ONE HUNDRED AND TEN people!
It was amazing! Everyone loves hugs, they're great. We hugged tall people and small people. Fat people and skinny people. Little kids and old people. Guys and girls.
It was just great.
I lost count of how many people said "That made my day, thank you." Thats like, the best feeling ever. We had some people thinking we were very smart. For example, one lady, she was like, "You guys are great! All this don't touch me nonsense, its bul-.... WRONG." To which I started laughing.Two old men kissed me on the cheek, lol. It was cute. We made them happy for giving them hugs.
We hugged people who were from Alberta, and some from Nova Scotia. Even two ladies from Switzerland, dammit!
The only downside, roflroflrofl, was:
"Oh, three hot girls giving hugs? I'll take advantage!" This was some guy in like, his early thirties. Who was with his two young daughters. I laughed my ass off. But I still hugged him.
We also hugged a REALLY fucking hot spanish guy, like, who was seventeen maybe. Damn, he was hot.
But yeah. It was the best Sunday ever. Regardless of my dad yelling and saying I was gonna get swineflu, and my mom not wanting me to go, it was fun. :3
